The new LuxOR includes our latest in technological breakthroughs. Combining the LIBERO-XY with touchscreen simplicity and flexibility with our patent pending ILLUMIN-i illumination system, the LuxOR is the best solution for ophthalmic surgery. Check out the features below and "see" for yourself.
CLARITY
LuxOR OPTICS
With the integrated ILLUMIN-i module, you'll experience crisp optics and visualization like never before. Our patent-pending, triaxial, collimated illumination provides a homogenous red reflex, enhanced depth perception and true contrast of the cortical material. The "V-Red" adjustable shutter gradually occludes the zero-degree illumination so each surgeon can discover their perfect red reflex setting. To further enhance the experience with the LuxOR ILLUMIN-i, we've added a removable objective lens. The quick release knob allows a simple exchange so each surgeon can choose the focal distance that feels most comfortable for him.
VERSATILITY BINOCULAR
The 0-215 inclinable binocular provides an extended range of movement. Varying surgeon and chair heights are easy to accommodate without having to make multiple adjustments. Telescoping eyecups also help the surgeon maintain posture and increase overall ergonomics.

COMPATIBILITY ASSISTANT SCOPE
Our assistant tube provides three joints for maximum rotation and orientation. Each joint has a friction adjustment to allow for ease of positioning and/or locking of the system once the optimum placement is found. Increased range of movement and better ergonomics ensure correct posture for the surgical assistant.
FLEXIBILITY FOOT CONTROL
Which configuration works best...wired or wireless? Either way, our system eliminates water damage from irrigating solutions. The solid, metal underbody and durable, rubber housing offer superior protection. LIBERO-XY UNIT
The LIBERO-XY unit offers many cutting-edge, digital features. The LIBERO (meaning freedom, without restraint) is not dependent upon a certain mounting system. If you have a floorstand or ceiling mount that still moves great, just attach the LIBERO-XY with our new LuxOR optics and you are ready for surgery. This system incorporates a touchscreen control unit so anyone in the O.R. can make adjustments easily and quickly. Less time setting-up your operatory… more time performing surgery.SURGEON SETTINGS
The LIBERO-XY allows for up to 12 surgeon presets. Each surgeon can choose the illumination level to begin each case, the speeds of focus, zoom and XY as well as configuration of the footpedal. The surgeon can also save their PD so that the binoculars can be adjusted before surgery begins.
CONTROLS
The LIBERO-XY offers a color, touchscreen control panel. On the main screen, the surgeon can reference the true magnification, which is calculated by the system as zoom adjustments are made within the optical head. You will also find the visual representation of the focus and XY range so that you are aware of your excursion point. If your footpedal should ever fail, the circulator can manually control the motorized features via the control unit… no need to cancel cases.THE WOW FACTORS
Now we get to have some fun! The optics and touchscreen are cutting-edge… so what else do we need to offer? Should you choose a wired or wireless foot control? If you decide to go wireless, an indicator on the main screen shows your charge level… you'll never be surprised by a "dead" foot control and you'll never have to worry about repairing the cord!
Here's the real fun… what's your favorite song? Simply plug your iPod® into the integrated holder and choose the music. The LIBERO-XY will send your tunes through internal speakers that have volume control on the main screen!
